I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that have helped, supported and inspired me through the years.
First , let me say thanks to my brother Rod and his wife Shannon for convincing me to come out to L.A. for a little while. I wouldn't have been given the chance to do the things I'm doing now without your generosity, patience, and support. Thanks for letting me stay with you guys for "a couple of months".
Then I'd like to say thanks to Brian, Paul, Jim, Nian and Dar for helping me with all my Web stuff. If it wasn't for these guys, you wouldn't be reading this right now. Check out their sites. They're pretty spiffy!
note: all of the links will open a in a new window.
And I also want to thank Alan, Beans and Rod for helping me fumble through Photoshop, and making my work a lot easier. Thanks to everyone at JSM+, I learned a lot from everyone there, and you guys will be remembered fondly.
Also I'd like to thank Pat and Leigh Anne for all of our long talks, keeping me sane and making me feel at home while I was in L.A..
Thanks to Cynthia, for being my buddy, and for sharing your spotlight with me. I can't wait for your new album, and I hope to work with you again real soon. You can hear the latest samples of her music at www.cynthiaford.com.
And a huge thanks to Loren and Dave for letting me use their site to bring Surf Wars to so the millions of Star Wars fans out there. If you haven't been there by now, go check out www.echostation.com.
Then I'd like to thank my friends for all the years of laughs and tears that have given me a lifetime of material. I hope my work makes everyone as happy as you guys have always made me.
Ali, don't forget, you promised to write my life story. I hope you're taking notes.
Teri, thanks for always showing me a different perspective on things.
A.J., you ALWAYS make me laugh (sometimes AT you, but I am laughing.) It's a good thing...really. Thanks.
Susan, thanks for all your support, patience, and letter writing. I'm sure I still owe you gas money for taking my strips to the paper every week. Thanks for everything.
Todd, thanks for being such a fantastic friend, and making me work my butt off in Mr. DeFoors' class, trying to show you up. You're WAY too talented to not be rich and offering me a well paying job somewhere. Lisa, would you talk to your husband!
Tommy, you have no idea how much your friendship has influenced me. I love you like a brother.
To the rest of my family, thanks for all the love and support you've always given me... even in my bad decisions. It's made for some great material. I hope it won't cost me too much to keep you guys quiet once I'm rich and famous.
And to you the readers, thanks for all the compliments and encouragement. I hope you continue to enjoy my work.
P.S. I want to say thanks to Charles Schulz for inspring me from such an early age. You'll be missed.
